This Two-Piece Matching Suit Set from the 1960's is INCREDIBLE! This has been in my Vintage Collection for about 19 years now and is just one of the Stunning Estate Pieces that I've Collected over the Years... and amazing, but true, she is STILL in NEW, NEVER WORN Condition with the ORIGINAL Custom Couture PAPER ORDER TAG! :D :D :D
What is so AWESOME about this dress is it's made for today's popular figure! A smaller girl with a larger bust, as you can see in the pictures... love this! Most vintage clothing is so tiny in the bust, but not this one! :D
Even though this Set looks like it's straight from Jackie Kennedy's closet, I'm guessing she was Custom Made for some other Lucky Lady of the Late Fifties to Early Sixties, the order number seam tag at the bottom, back, center inside of the dress skirt as well as the hang tag on the coat at the wrist of the right sleeve are STILL ATTACHED!
Starting with the Dress to this Set... She is composed of the most Gorgeous SHIMMERY PINK SATIN BROCADE, literally Lavished with PINK EMBOSSED ROSES, BUDS and FOLIAGE, a very Wide Scooped Neckline while the Shoulder Straps ride a bit further out on your shoulders, showing even more Neckline, upper Chest and that sexy clavical area, Sleeveless Styling, Stunning Darted and Fitted Bust and Bodice providing Wonderful BUST SUPPORT that is also FULLY LINED with Cool, Shimmery and Silky Smooth ACETATE SATIN, Extra Long Zipper at the Back Center, PIPED SOUTACHE SATIN at the waistline adding another chic Touch of Elegance, Multi-Pleated FULL SWING Style SKIRT that even has a little Built-In PETTICOAT FLUFF Crinoline Netting inside Adding a Gorgeous Touch of POOF! :D

Tagged a Vintage Size 9, **however** using actual measurements and comparing to Modern Day Sizes she is **much** more like a size 2 to 4 and a modern day Small with Actual Dress Measurements as follows:
Dress: Underarm to Underarm is 34 inches around (***please remember this fabric does *not* stretch and you will need to allow *at least 2 inches* for comfort and movement from all of these measurements!***), the Fullest part of the Dress Bust is between 37/38 inches, the Underbust (just beneath the breasts) is 30 inches, Dress Waist is 24 inches (so an example would be that your waist should be 22~ish or less inches for a comfortable fit), Length from the top of her shoulder strap to hemline is 38 inches!
Coat: Underarm to Underarm is 39 inches around (again, please remember this fabric does *not* stretch and you will need to allow at least 2 inches for comfort and movement from all of these measurements!), Bust, Waist and Hips are Open, Arm Openings 14 inches around, Sleeve Length from Shoulder 20 inches and from Underarm 17 1/4 inches with an overall Length of 39 inches!

NEAR IMMACULATE VINTAGE Condition, Superb Fabric with Zero Flaws, complete with ORIGINAL TAGS and the only things that will be needed are two "eye" portions of the Hook 'n Eye Closures, as you will want to change the one at the back of the dress waistline because it's rusty and the one at the neckline of the coat is missing, other than that INCREDIBLE and NEVER WORN! :D
The hang tag at the coat wrist is torn about in half, so I can't read the Original Designer/Dressmaker... sorry!
You *will* also want to zip her through the *cleaners* for a freshening, as she may be a bit musty from decades of storage and have your cleaners lubricate the metal zipper, then she's ready for your Vintage Party, Vintage Wedding (excellent for this!), Holiday, Special Date or even Elegant Daily Wear! :) :) :)
