Red, White and Blue Enameled Details... Raised Lettering says "Ladies Auxiliary" across/around the top center and "V.F.W." at the bottom of the center circle... Lowest point at the bottom says "10" for the ten year membership award recipient of this pin... in original packaging...
Magnet won't stick and it's heavy metal (definitely not the cheapy junk made today), so I'm sure this is Solid Brass... the color isn't right for it to be gold, nor is it stamped and when enamel work is applied, it's usually done over brass because it can withstand the heat used...
It measures just under 5/8 of an Inch Wide by just under 3/4 of an Inch in Length...
I'm slowly clearing out all of my old jewelry at super savings, so the First $10 takes this Vintage Veteran piece today!
