A Gorgeous Gown from the Late 1960s to Early 1970s begins with a Double Fabric Banded V Neckline followed a Wide and Sheer Fluttery Collar of the same Floral Pattern that is Trimmed in Delicate FLORAL LACE! The Bodice and Skirt portions of this gown are composed of HIGH QUALITY 100% COTTON (not sheer or see through) while the collar and sleeves are of a matching sheer fabric that feels like a cotton blend (perhaps with a touch of poly), the Bodice has Fully Gathered Breast Panels and is Designed in a Criss~Cross your heart and "bust~booster" style by Overlaying Bands of Matching Fabric that -- at the Empire Waistline -- Create Long Matching Ties at Each Side so you can tie them back and Cinch her down to your perfect fit! The Bodice and Skirt Fabric are 100% Cotton, and as mentioned above, the Sheer feels like a cotton blend with a touch of poly and 100% Nylon Lace!
The following are some measurements for your perfect fit on this gown! :)
As mentioned, she is vintage handcrafted, thus there is no size tag, however she measures like a Size SMALL working most comfortably up to a 32 inch bustline with additional room in the gathered bust (to about a B cup), Underarm to Underarm is 35 inches around, Bust 34 inches around (not including the gathers, please remember to allow a few inches to move and breathe :), Empire Waist (just beneath the bust) is 29 inches and can easily be cinched down to your perfect fit with the ties, Length from the top of her shoulder to hemline is 58 inches and the hemline is delicately hand-stitched, so she may easily be taken up as much as you like and let down an additional 2 inches if you wish!
Please be sure to compare these measurements to a piece that you already own to insure a proper fit, and always allow at least an extra inch or two for comfort... Thank you!

This started a huge Bohemian lifestyle and clothing movement, especially in San Francisco and other select California cities, thus designer names like Gunne Sax, Lorrie Deb, Candi Jones and a few other gorgeous lines were born, as well as very Creative Hippy Girls who designed their own Pieces! These vintage dresses and gowns are just as popular, sought after and highly collectible today as they were in the 60s and 70s!
